The Kindness Chronicle | March 2026
The month of March, reminds me of how powerful community can be. Every day at Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc., we see the strength, courage, and resilience of the fighters, survivors, and thrivers we serve. It is an honor to walk alongside each of you, and we are deeply grateful for the compassion and generosity that make this work possible.
March is also an important time for our BCA Scholarship Program. This program supports students whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer, and the application period will close on March 20, 2026. We are continually inspired by the incredible young people who apply each year, and we look forward to celebrating this year’s applicants and recipients in the months ahead.
We are especially excited as we look ahead to two wonderful opportunities to gather and celebrate this community in May. Our annual Golf Tournament on May 11, 2026 will bring friends and supporters together for a meaningful day on the course, followed by our Pink Happy Hour on May 15th, a joyful evening to connect, celebrate survivorship, and continue building hope together.
Before those events arrive, we are proud to once again participate in Take Your Child to Work Day on April 23rd. Last year, our special guest Charlotte brought so much joy to our office as she shared a story about practicing gratitude with survivors and helped everyone create a gratitude stone while chatting over cookies. It was a simple but beautiful reminder that gratitude and kindness can be shared at any age. Now a 2nd grader, Charlotte is excited to return with another story and craft to share.
We warmly invite breast cancer fighters, survivors, and thrivers to join us from 1–2 PM at the BCA office for this special time together. Space is limited, so please RSVP to [email protected] to reserve your spot.
Finally, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors and supporters. Your kindness allows these moments of connection, encouragement, and care to happen. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, and we would be grateful for your partnership, simply reply to this letter to learn more.
Thank you for being part of this mission and for helping us continue to bring hope and support to so many.
